Helm, a Tree Top Capital product. Last updated: June 2026.
Helm is a set of tools for UK company directors, available on the web and as an iOS app. This policy explains what happens to your information. In short: your information stays on your device, and we don't collect it.
Some tools (such as Company Records, the Setup Checklist and the Insurance Needs Check) let you save details — for example your company number, tax references or insurance information. This data is stored only in your browser or app on your own device, using your device's local storage. It is not transmitted to us, and we have no way to see it.
In Company Records you can optionally protect your saved data with a passphrase, which encrypts it on your device. If you choose to do so, keep your passphrase safe — we cannot recover it.
We do not collect, store, transmit or sell any personal data through Helm. There are no accounts, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and no advertising. The calculators perform all their working on your device.
Helm bundles its own fonts and assets and works offline. We don't use third-party analytics, trackers, advertising, or content-delivery networks.
Helm is intended for company directors and business owners and is not directed at children.
Because your information lives only on your device, you are in control of it. You can clear it at any time from within the tools (for example "Clear this company" in Company Records) or by clearing your browser/app data. Uninstalling the app removes the data stored on that device.
If we add optional accounts or cloud sync in future, we will update this policy to explain what would then be stored, where, and how you can delete it — and any such feature will be clearly opt-in.
